Citron C4 Aircross set for world premiere in Geneva

It was announced back in September last year, but now the real deal is set to make its official debut in Geneva. The Citron C4 Aircross will get its world premiere next week at the Swiss show, and the French take on the Mitsubishi ASX will wear a special colour for the occasion.

The Geneva show car will be finished in an all-new Vapor Gray frosted-texture paint. The roof bars, door mirrors and door handles are all chrome-finished to match the new colour, while the two-tone diamond-effect wheel rims sport the same Vapor Gray tone as the interior.

Engine choices for the vehicle, as previously reported, are PSAs 1.6 litre HDi 110 engine, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as well as a HDi 150, both available in 2WD or 4WD form. Theres also a 115 hp 1.6 litre petrol engine with 2WD and 5-speed manual transmission option.

The C4 Aircross will feature a wide range of equipment, including NaviDrive satnav with touch screen & reversing camera, hands-free access and ignition, a Rockford Hi-Fi system as well as an integrated server for storing music.

More wagon Jaguar XF Sportbrake fully revealed!

More wagons coming your way, but this one is from a different league. We posted up leaked scans of the Jaguar XF Sportbrake earlier this week, the wagon version of the XF that will be debuting at Geneva. But no need to wait till the cloth drops in Switzerland for full info, because Jaguar has now revealed all.

The XF Sportbrake is entirely new from the B-pillar backwards, and its a sleek second half. As previously spotted, the tinted rear screen appears to be linked with the chrome side glass border, thanks to rear pillars covered with gloss black finishers. Apparently inspired by luxury yachts, Jag used the same trick for its XJ limo. The sedans 2,909 mm wheelbase is unchanged.

There are two optional exterior design packages. The Aero Pack (standard on the S model) adds a deeper front bumper, side sills and rear valance plus a rear spoiler enhancement. The Black Pack replaces the exterior bright finishes with gloss black and pairs them with similarly finished alloys.

It looks good, but space and practicality isnt forgotten. The extended roofline affords rear-seat passengers an additional 48 mm of headroom and the rear seats have 60:40 split fold function and a ski hatch. Remote-fold levers inside the load-space eases seat folding, creating 1! ,675 lit res of cargo space thats 1,970 mm in length. The central portion of the cargo floor hides an extra storage compartment, which can also fold and lock into position to divide the bay.

Two diesel engines are offered a 2.2L four-pot and a 3.0L V6, both mated to an eight-speed auto. The twin-turbo V6 is offered in two states of tune. The range-topping S model offers 275 PS and 600 Nm of torque for fast family fun. Standard across the range is self-levelling air suspension at the rear to replace the saloons coil springs.

Additionally, all Sportbrakes can be had with Jaguar Adaptive Dynamics. The active damper system continuously monitors the suspension and allows the driver to alter suspension and throttle response via buttons.

The Academy Awards, like any major Hollywood event, is as much about the stage as it is the red carpet. Having said that, since they didn't show up in a thigh-high slitted custom Versace gown, our top three choices for Best Jewelry wore plenty of ice instead.

Natalie Portman loves to accessorize, but never overdoes it. Because she has such a small face, Nats likes to go for delicate-looking jewelry. Topping off her strapless vintage red gown was a diamond cluster choker from jeweler Harry Winston with a pair of six-carat oval diamond drop earrings. The V-shape of the necklace contrasted with the straight line of her gown while its choker design didn't compete with her brightly-colored attire. Elegante!

Cameron Diaz, not wanting to be outdone in the bling department, went for a whole set courtesy Tiffany & Co. Her diamond necklace, made of emerald-cut stones and valued at $560,000, was the right accessory for the strapless Gucci number as it was glittering enough but didn't eclipse the designer dress. Alongside the necklace, Diaz threw in a pair of stud earrings valued at $55,000 which set off her neckpiece well. Just so her hand didn't look bare next to all of that, the California blonde finished it off with a stunning ring, worth $302, 500. Magnifique!

Barry Sanders Filed For Divorce From Wife Lauren

Barry Sanders, former running back for the Detroit Lions of the NFL, has filed for divorce from his wife after more than eleven years of marriage. The Heisman winning Hall of Famer cited breakdown in marital relations as the cause of the split from soon to be former wife, Lauren Campbell-Sanders, per court documents filed within the Oakland County Circuit Court on February 27, 2012.

The man best known as one of the greatest running backs of all time is seeking joint custody of the couples three boys (ages 10, 8, and 4). He also intends to pay child support per regulations of the court and requested Lauren maintain health insurance for the children.

Lauren is a weekend news anchor for WDIV-TV Channel 4.

The pair were married during November 2000.
